Job Description-

About the role:

They Hyperion Developer will be a member of an agile team that designs, builds, and deploys new requirements for the financial applications at Sabmiller as well as is responsible for the 2nd and 3rd level of support of the global finance community.

The scope of the role will include the following:
* Operational responsibility of specified business applications
* Translation of user requirements into technical specifications; design and develop Hyperion system components including Essbase, Business Rules, Calculation Scripts, MAXL scripts, and Financial Data Management (FDM) data streams.
* Responsible for development activities that include updates to existing applications and/or developing new programs and models to address a particular business need.
* Interaction with the outsourced infrastructure team, Third Party Service Providers, External Developers and Consultants, Global System Users and Business Applications Managers.

The role will include the following key outputs, aligned to the ISOM:
* Supporting and maintaining Hyperion Applications
* Implementing Change and Release Management for Hyperion Applications
* Ensuring all Processes & Procedures are appropriately documented


Minimum Qualifications:
- Oracle certified (1Z0-533)
- Application implementation (Hyperion Essbase, FDM)
- 7-12 plus years of development experience with Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion FDM applications
* Loading data
* Calculation
* Data entry templates
* Metadata
* Front-end user navigation
* Data base configuration and optimization
* Load rules
* Calculation scripts
- Familiar with the Hyperion Product Suite, including Essbase Administration Services (EAS), Shared Services, Workspace, Financial Reporting, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) , Hyperion Data Relationship Manager (DRM), and Smart View
- Experience with batch scripting and automation using MaxL, Visual Basic, and/or other scripting languages
- Experience with security for Planning/Essbase users, groups, and dimensions and administer access
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Educated to university degree level (or equivalent qualification)
- ITIL qualification (at least to Foundation Level)
- Experience in Business Analysis and Application release management / Understanding of financial business processes, such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, etc.
- Customer centric with great customer relation skills / Working directly with Customers
- Consulting experience a plus
- Experience with Hyperion Planning version 11.1.2.3
